LONDON, February 2-L Writing in the “Daily Mail” an i,n porter suggests that the New Zealand Butter Control Board was responsible for a reduction in the wholesale price of butter, synch ionising with the increased retail price of twopence per lb He asserted that the Board last week raised the price 27- a hundredweight wholesale, and has now dropped it 8//compelling the retailer to cover himseli |on last week ’s purchase prices by charging the customer threepence a pound above the wholesale.
