CYCLING.
CHRISTCHURCH, February 28. There was trouble at the English !?ark Stadium on Saturday night, because AV. Alackie, the cyclist, did not turn out for the second of the three match races against P. O’Shea, stating he objected to the chosen pacemaker. After much booing and a scuffle, Mackie and his father left in a car, escorted by two constables.
