WELLINGTON, February 24. Mr D. C. Bates reports: The present indications are for moderate to strong easterlv to northerly winds northwards of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerlies prevailing and freshening elsewhere. The weather will be fair and warmer, but haze and cloudiness are increasing generally for a change to follow. The barometer is falling everywhere soon.
