EXCURSION.

FROM CHRISTCHURCH. GREYMOUTH PROPOSALS. In connection with tile excursion to Greymouth which is being arranged by the West Coasters’ Association at Christchurch, Mr. E. I. Lord, Organiser for the Greymouth Progress League, told an Argus reporter yesterday that it was proposed to offer to arrange for five tennis courts to be placed at tiie disposal of the visitors and for a representative cricket match to be held. It would also be proposed that two busses be provided to take a party to Punakaikai. He expected also to be able to arrange for two launches to convey a party across Lake Brunner, Mitchell's, from which they would motor via the Old Marsden Road to Greymouth, the whole trip being free of charge. It was proposed, however, to make it a condition that a Christchurch pressman accompany the party in order that the attractions of the Coast might have appropriate publicity.
