Two by-elections of great interest and hope for Labour are ’now being fought in Britain, at Stourbridge in Worcestershire, and at Bosworth in Leicestershire. In the former at the general election in 1914 the voting was I’ielou (Tory). 16,023; Welloo (Labour), 14,113; Mander (Liberal), 10,418. Majority’ 1,910. In the latter, not a thousand votes separated the three candidates, it being won by’ Captain Gee, V.C. (Tory), who for some reason disappeared and has turned up in Western Australia. Labour has a good chance in both.
