Dispute in Ranks. WELLINGTON, February 23. It is understood that there is trouble ?n the ranks of the Association of the Association o£ .thej Railway Enginedrivers, Firemen and Cleaners, in connection with the relationships existing between the General Secretary (Mr. W. MeArley) and certain of the Executive and that this trouble has been on the question of whether the General Secretary or the President shall hold supreme authority.

It is understood that reccut the trouble culminated in the submission of an dispute to the arbitration of Mr. E. Page S.M., whose decision will be final and the decision will be given shortly.
