CORRESPONDENCE.

“A CORKER.’’ (To the Editor) Sir—There is such a thing as a representative on a public body outstaying usefulness and becoming a burden rather than a help. This certainly seems I > rightly apply to Air Arthur Robinson member of Grey County Council and .Bower Board. lie arrived at our last Farmers Union meeting with great pomp on Air Seddon’s coat tail and was going to have our main road put through at once. In the same breath he is hindering the work by his statements regarding the Tekinga men waiting to start work. This is not consistency or is it that he is up against the worker ? At the last Power Board meeting he said he did not want the. linesmen fined, but his amendment is practically asking to have them fined. At the last election I was a supporter of Air Robinson’s, but, like a, few more up this way I have been had, as he has turned out a “corker.” I am etc. WORKING FARMER. Rotomanu Feb. J 9th.
