ROYAL CRUISE.

N.Z. ITINERARY.

WELLINGTON, Jan. 11

The Duke and Duchess of York reach Auckland in six weeks’ time, on February 22. After spending a day there, they will proceed to Russell, arriving on the morning of February 24th for deep sea fishing. They will return to Auckland on the Renown on Feburay 26th. and will leave for Rotorua by train. ~ After spending Sunday, February 27th, at Rotorua, they will motor to Taupo, and travel thence to the fishing camp at Tokaanu. They will be at the camp on March Ist

The following afternoon they will leave for the National Park, where they will join the Royal train. A night journey will be made to New Plymouth where the train is due about 9 a.m. on March 3rd. After the civic welcome the party will return by rail to Wanganui, thence to Palmerston North, with short stops at Stratford and Ha-

On March 4th, a train trip will be made from Palmerston North to Napier with short stops at Dannevirke am'. Hastings, arriving at Napier at 3.15 p.m.

The Royal party will leave the fol lowing morning for Wellington, via. Wairarapa, short stops being made at Woodville and Masterton.

Wellington will be reached on th night of Marell sth, and the visitors will remain in the capital until the evening of March Bth, when they will join the Renown and leave early the following morning for Pieton. Blenheim will next be visited, after which the party will motor to Nelson.

They will leave Nelson on the morn ing of March 10th. lunch at Murchison, and stay the night at Westport. At about 9.30 a.m. ou March 11th, they will leave West.nort for Greymouth and join the train at Inangahua Junction, and. proceed direct to Hokitika and return to Greymouth. It is understood Mrs T. E. Y. Seddon’s residence at Greymouth is available for the reception of the Royal visitors. Leaving Greymouth on the morning of Saturday, March 12th, the party wul arrive at Christchurch at about 5 p.nr and spend the Sunday, Monday, an, Tuesday there.

On Wednesday, March 16th, they leave for Dunedin by special train, ami short stops will be made at Ashburton, Timaru, and Oaniaru. Dunedin will be reached at about 6.30 a.m. and the visitors will remain there until the Saturday, when thev will proceed by train to Cromwell, ami thence by motor via Lakes Hawea. and Wanaka to Pembroke, where the night and the following day will be spent. On Monday, March 21st, they wn motor from Pembroke to Queenstown, and remain there for a night, and they will depart from Queenstown at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22nd, for the Bluff. An hour will be spent at Gore, and about an hour and a half at Invercargill. The same evening the party will rejoin the Renown, anchored off Stewart Island, and will sail for Australia. As far as the rail journeys in the South Island are concerned, only dining accommodation will be provided ui the train.
