N.Z. LABOUR PARTY.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. The eleventh annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party will open at Napier on April IS (Easter .Monday), when delegates from every electorate will attend. The conference will deal with the report of a special committee set up by the conference at Wanganui last year for the purpose ol inquiring into the system of land tenure, land settlement, etc. The commit tee is expected to deal with the question of whether the “usehold ’ policy, which has been adopted by the party, should be revised. Mr. 11. E. Holland, M.P., will report on the work of the Party in Parliament. Remits and nominations for office must be iu the hands of the Secretary not later than January 30. There is also a proposal to hold at Napier a conference of women •members of the Party, immediately prior to tho annual conference.
