The weather was again beautiful and the greens playing keen, when play was resumed this morning in the Dominion Singles Championship. All the two-lifers were pitted at Carlton, and 68 one-lifers were engaged for two rounds at other greens. The survivors will come up to Carlton for the last stages in the struggle. At the close of the first day’s play in the Dominion Bowling Tournament, 17 were left in, with two lives, and 68 with one.
