Bates reports: — Present indications arc for moderate to strong v.es.orlv winds prevailing, and fresh .■nirg southwards of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, the weather being warm and fair to cloudy generally, but showery in the West Coast and southernmost districts, and clouding over shortly elsewhere. The barometer has ,x falling tendency in the south.
