FRENCH MINISTRY. Decides for It. (Received Sept. 22 at 9 p.m.) PARIS, Sept. 21. It is officially stated that the French Government is unanimous regarding the utility of pursuing the Franco-German conversations. Hie Government will examine the technical problems involved. The Foreign Minister, M. Briand, subsequently stated:—“What I did at Geneva left the Government their entire liberty, which has been used in a most favourable way.” LONDON, September 21. Further evidence of improved Franco-German relations is given by the appearance on the Paris boulevards of the first German newspaper published in Paris since the war. It is called Die Pariser Putsch e Zeitung, and is a continuation of the pre-war “Pariser Zeitung.” SPAIN FOR DISARMAMENT. MADRID, September 21. At San Sebastian, King Alfonso pre sided over a Cabinet meeting at whicl it was decided to accept the League’ invitation to the disarmament con f erence. It was pointed out that as America had also accepted, Spain’s attendance would not affect her resignation from the League.
