Mr Tattersail remarked that it.would almost appear that the only export which tho colonies are now prepared to admit freely is British capital. He urged the Lancashire and Yorkshire members of Parliament to tackle tho Government in connection with this matter, with a view of securing a 1 frank discussion of the County’s reciprocal relations with the colonies at the Imperial Conference.
