EXTEND TO CAPITAL. PERTH, July 21. So far thirty washouts were found on the four railways in surrounding districts, owing to the floods. The Swan river at Perth has become a vast expanse of water. FURTHER RAIN AND/ GALES. "PERTH, July 21. The rain continues, and there -are pro spects of a heavy gale. Reports from the whole countryside indicate phenomenal floods ami extensive damage. The first fatality so far reported is the death of Mrs Barrington, of Cottesloe. who stepped on a live wire blown down by the gale, and was electrocuted. All the country train services are still suspended. The' trans-continental service has also been cancelled until the weather conditions improve.
