At to-night's meeting of the Canteibury Rugby League, the report that the Marist B. senior team walked oft the field on Saturday was denied by the referee. The referee stated that he ordered off the Marist captain for frequently questioning his decisions. Two other players walked off with the captain. It was thus impossible for the Marists to form a serum, and, as it was nearly time, he (the referee) blew his whistle and ended the game. The League decided that the captain should attend the next meeting and give an explanation. N.Z. TEAM MATCH.
