MAY DAY.

CELEBRATION AT AUCKLAND. A splendid meeting was hold on Quay Street, Auckland, to celebrate May Ist. It had an international aspect. The gathering felt, with millions of their fellow trades unionists and Labour supporters. that it was their duty in this remote part of the world, to celebrate May Day. A resolution was moved, seconded and adopted, offering fraternal greetings to all copirades throughout the world. The speakers were:— Messrs Chas. Ma iris, G. 11. Edwards, O. Bourbeau; and Mr Evan J, Thomas was Chairman.
