In the absence of the Headmaster, Mr. Ritchie, in. a few .welbr-hoson words, expressed the regret felt- at. Miss Stubbs’s departure after twelve years of faithful -sendco al. the Blackball school, and congratulated her on her approaching marriage; He then c-aIL edon Mis.q Kathleen Connors, a senior pupil, who in a neat little, speech on behalf of the public of Blackball, and the scholars presented the with a beautiful dinner service, sot of aluminium :kitchen utensils, and a silver mounted out glass, hbnrw j al and salad bowl.
