NELSON FATALITY.
MANAGER. FOUND SHOT. IN DAIRY FACTORY. NELSON. March 27. A sail fatality occurred at Biiinlium Cheese Factory between nine and ten o'clock this morning. The laetory manager. Mr. West- was found shot dead in the Secretary's ofliee, in the factory. West, had borrowed a hammer less gun io shorn some stray cats that had been causing; some annoyniiie. Tho assistant did not hear the shot lin'd, but he was in the engine room part of the time, and would not hear a great deal from the outside. West was about 2S years of age. He had been in charge of the factory since January nf last year. He came originally from llongotca, North Island.
