At a meeting ol the Dairy Produce Control Board, icports. wore received of rhe decreased production of butter and choose in all States, There is still however, an exportable surplus in Queensland and Now South Wales, but if the adverse weather continued foi many weeks, all production would have to be resorted to meet the home consumption.
The Board revoked the order previously made io withold twenty-tive per cent Of the butter from export to I’nited Kingdom. It was further resolved io make an order for the shipment of butter io the I'nite.l Kingdom, spreading- the despatches over a period of four weeks. All the butter withheld tn January i- to be slipped immediately and the balance in, throetveeklv instalments from the sixth of the 27th of March.
