DR DYE’S CLAIM DISPUTED. LONDON, .Tan. 18. Sir George Bentsoil, surgeon to the Glasgow Cancer Hospital, doubts Gye’s mid Barnard’s claim that they discovered the cancer germ. Ho expresses the opinion that the photographs revealed not a germ but a synthetic creation due to X Rays ultra violet light play.ng on various materials used in photography. This v.as formerly invisible, but is now revealed by Barnard’s apparatus. Sir G. Beatson adds: -‘My own theory is that pigment in the human bodv excites.”
