The Union Company has rece'.vod advice that, the B.M.S. Niagara arrived at Suva, at 11.03 a.m. on Saturday from Auckland, and snih-d again at 5 p.m. the same day for Honolulu and Vancouver. The new Orient al-Aust ralian Line steamer. Changto, left, Hongkong on September 30 for Australian ports, with Captain Gambrill, formerly of the Changsha, in command. The Changte is a steel single-srew steamer, and is designed to carry 4000 tons, of a mean draft of 23ft. There is accommodation amidships for 50 first class passengers in single and two berth cabins, fitted with the latest conveniences. There are also two suites cabins de luxe, with private baths. The public rooms consist of dining saloon, music, hoom, smokeroom, lounge and veranda cafe. Thirty second-class passengers will be accommodated in the poop, Tween decks, in two-berth cabins, with public room, dining saloon, smoke room, and ladies' lounge. Accommodation is also provided for 26 second-class Chinese passengers in bridge, ’tween decks. Accommodation is also provided for chilled and frozen cargo, and the engines arc designed for an economical speed of 18 knote, THE WCATIIRR.
