A number of additional enitries have been received in the primary school classes. The additional entries increase the aggregate to over 1000, which is most satisfactory. In the original list of entries previously published P Anisey’s name was inadvertently stated as T. Anisy in the prepared reading under 12. The West Coast Competitions Society asknowledges with thanks, gold medals from the Bristol Piano Co., Ltd., for the competitor gaining the highest marks in the pianoforte solo selections; from Messrs Chas. Begg a»id Co., Ltd., to be awarded to the winner of the pianoforte solo under 12; and from Messrs Webley Sons and Gofton, Ltd., to' be awarded to the competitor securing the highest marks in tho musical al or instrumental. t~ i
