WELLINGTON MATCH. WELLINGTON, August 9. Tn the Soccer match yesterday- We) lington (4) beat the Royal Navy (3). WELLINGTON B v. WAIRARAPA. MASTERTON, August 9. At Soccer the Wellington B representative team defeated Wairarapa by four goals to three in an evenly contested match yesterday. The visitors were generally’ superior in tactics, though the home side lost many good opportunities by not following up their openings, or by inaccurate passing. Rain fell during the afternoon, and the conditions were not good for spectacluar football.
