GERMAN CELEBRATIONS. (Australian and-N.Z. Cable Assn.) BERLIN’, August 1. Church bells in the Ruhr rang jqyous peals immediately the last French troops evacuated the Ruhr at midnight, and the buildings displayed the German national flag. Rifles, revolvers, ammunition and wireless apparatus, the sales of which were uieviously forbidden, appeared in shop windows this morning. Th e inhabitants warmly welcomed the incoming German police, symbolising the renew of German sovereignity.
