AT MOTUROA. NEW PLYMOUTH, July 27. The Taranaki Oilfields issued a I” port by Dr. Clapp, respecting the ga 3 in the Moturoa bore. He says'— The quality of the gas.has no significance as regards oil occurrence. Its presence is encouraging, but it proves nothing regarding oil. Tile composition of the K.oturoa gas shows it is not of volcanic ongin.
