She hmds coal and timber for Auckland and is expected to sail to-day.' The Waipori sailed yesterday aftcFicon for Sydney with a cargo cf timThe Kakapo arrived from Wellington yesterday afternoon. She loads coal and timber and returns to Gio same port. The Kaimai is due rb nt. Wednesday from Wellington. S':e loads a part cargo of coal for Wellington and Miramar, completing at Westport. The Karori is due about Thursday to load coal for Wellington, and will probably sail thence, via Westport to complete". The Kaitangata is due til’s week from Dunedin with general cargo. After discharge she loads timber for Mel bourne and Adelaide. The Inga sailed yesterday timberladen, for Sydney. Jhe Waimea arrived at midnight from Wellington, via Westport, with general cargo. After discharge she loads for New Plymouth.
Ihe Opua arrived from Wellington yesterday, via way ports. She loads coal and timber for Miramar.
The Tees was due at Lyttelton yesterday from Chatham Islands. She loads at Lyttelton for West Coast and is due at Greymouth this week-end THS POOLTA. The s.s. Poolta, which has lately been acquired by the Union M.S. Co., Ltd., arrived on her first trip to Greymouth yesterday afternoon. She is a handy cargo vessel of 1675 tons gross, of the following dimensions; Length, 243 ft 8.p.; breadth 40ft; depth 17ft’ She is propelled by one set of triple expansion engines, capable of driving the vessel 91 knots per hour. The officersquarters are situated hpidships ami are roomy, well ventilated, and are equipped with steam heaters. The quarters of the crew are situated fore ami aft. Captain Harkness, late of t ic b.s. Ngatoro, is iu command. telegrams , WESTPORT, July 27. Sailed, 6.30 p.m., Waimea, for Greymouth. '
