THE HISTORY OF BARNETTS’ THE CHEMISTS : A slight change bn the personnel I of the well known firm of Barnett and Co., the Chemists, has occurred. This business was established -17 years ngo at Kumara by Mr W. Barnett soar. In 1886 he shifted operations to Christchurch and finally lie retired leaving the business in the hands of his two S'MS Mr s. F. Barnett and Mr W. J. F. Barnett. Now Mr W. J. I'. Barnett has retired and Mr S. F. Barnett is in sole charge. Mr S. U. Barnett thanks the firm's numerous e uutry customers for their past support and promises that they will secure the same courteous, reliable and prompt service in the future as they have in the past.
