This business was established -17 years ngo at Kumara by Mr W. Barnett soar. In 1886 he shifted operations to Christchurch and finally lie retired leaving the business in the hands of his two S'MS Mr s. F. Barnett and Mr W. J. F. Barnett. Now Mr W. J. I'. Barnett has retired and Mr S. F. Barnett is in sole charge. Mr S. U.
