Wellington, Wednesday. Karori, Wellington, .Friday. NOTES. The Poolta (1675 tons) arrived outside in the roadstead yestffrday, and is awaiting a favourable bar to enter port. She will load coal and timber for Auckland.

The Kakapo is due hero to-day from Wellington and will load coal and timber for Miramar.

The Kaimai should arrive here today to load a part cargo of coal and timber for Wellington . and Miramar. She will proceed to Westport to complete loading.

Owing to the state of the bar shipping movements have been held up for

some time. The Waipori which was expected to get ayay o.i Thursday night, is still detained, while the Inga which was scheduled to sail for Sydney on Saturlay night was unable to get away. The Poolta is outside the bar awaiting an entrance. With the likelihood of further rains, and flood fnters from the snow capped mountains, there is every chance of an early scour. The Opua is due to-day from Wellington, via way ports, with general cargo. After discharge she oads for New Plymouth. TELEGRAMS WESTPORT, Sunday. Sailed at 12.20 a.m,, Oput, for Greymouth. WELLINGTON, Saturday. Sailed nt 5.30 p.m., Kakapo, for Greymouth. WELLINGTON, J-ly 26. Arrived on Saturday, Mararoa, at 7.35 a.m. from I.vtteltno. Sailed: Kaiva.iga. 5.20 p.m., ami Mararoa, 8.5 n.m. for Lyttelton; Kaitoke 6.20 p.m. for Newcastle. Arrived on Sunday, Maori, 7 a.m., from Lyttelton; Eimutaka, 4.15 p.m., from Auckland.
