MURDER AND SUICIDE
WESTRALIAN DOUBLE TRAGEDY. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association.) PERTH, June 29. Two young women, named Stella Moore, and Doyle, were sleeping iu a bungalow in the grounds of the Hotel Rockingham. Doyle left the room for a few minutes, and on rcturi ing, found Moore with a bullet wound in the face and a inhn lying dead alongside the bed with a bullet through thc head. Stella Moore is not in a serious condition . It is slated that the dead man was her husband. He crept bootless io the room and shot h;r and himself. Some weeks ago, Moore was a resident of Geraldton. He informed the. portce that his wife was missing. He traced her to Rockingham. Jealousy is supposed to be the cause of the tragedy. PERTH, Jun e 29. Mrs Moore and Mrs Doyle had gone to the Rockingham Hotel in company with two men, and had registered them selves as single women. A note was found on Percy Moore’s body asking his mother’s forgiveness.
