CANTERBURY BOARD'S BALANCE SHEET. CHRISTCHURCH, April 2’o. Th<? North Canterbury Hospital Board, which commenced its financial year with a deficit of £11,865, finished up with a surplus of £1,166. Thc report stated that nearly half a million (£479,000 to be exact) had been handled by the Board during the year, and the fees had increased remarkably. The total of estimated requirements for the year 1925-26 was £167,875, as compared with £158,575 for thc previous year.
