WELLIN (I TON, Apri 1 IG. The forecast is Hutt the present indications arc for strong west to southwesterly winds northwards of Cook Strait, and south-westerlies to southeasterlies elsewhere. Tne weather will be cold and squally, with heavy showers generally, and snow on the higher levels in the south. The barometer is rising everywhere soon.
