The West Coast Aliners’ Council, at their last Council meeting, dealt with the matter of reactionary efforts to oust and exclude militant members of industrial unions from representation on the Labour Representation Committo. On 11)4' grounds that discrimination was a capitalist tactic and, further, that what was required in the working class movement, if any progress is to be made, was more militants, the Council were of the opinion, that a vigorous protest was necessary. This view has since been practically unanimously endorsed by the membership of the AVest Coast District Council of ATiners’ Unions.
