N.Z. CONTBIBUTION OF £lOO,OOO. LABOUR OPPOSITION. The New Zealand Labour Party again voiced its opposition to the decision of the New Zealand Government to contribute £lOO,OOO to the British Government towards the Singapore base scheme. Tho annual report recorded tho action of the New Zealand Labour Party at the time the British Labour Government decided to drop the scheme, upon which occasion the New Zealand executive sent a congratulatory cah'.o to Mr Ramsay MacDonald. At the New Zealand Labour Party conference yesterday a resolution confirming the action of the executive in opposing the contribution was passed.
