ELECTION OF PRESIDENT. The ?Btate Miners’ I nion has just held an election for the office of President to obtain a successor to Air A. Warwick, who resigned the position, consequent on occupying an aj>Liointnient under the Department. The result was the election of Air W. Ayres by a majority of 37 over Air J.
