WELTJNGTON, Feb 26 Twelve fresh cases of infantile paralysis wore notified during the twenty four hours ending at 9 a.m. to-day. as against fifteen on Tuesday, and sixteen the day before. The eases were, distributed as follows: Auckland Health District Whangarei 1: Ala leu 1; Waiton 1. Wellington Health District, 6 — City l>: Taihapc. Opunakc. Waverley. Stratford, Kirwifea ami Otaki one each. Canterbury, 3— Christchurch C’ity 1. Pleasant " a n i 1 Runanga L. Otago Health District —O. Total lor the Dominion 12. DEATH AT NELSON. NELSON. February 26. The ease of infantile paralysis a boy aged thirteen, reported yesterday, for minated fatally to-day. DEATH AT OAMARU. GAM ARIL February 26. 'l'hc suspected vase of infantile paralysis, a boy of eight, developed rapidly. and the boy died last night. NAPIER CASE. NAPIER, February 26 A case of infantile paralysis, a girl aged three and a half years, was admitted to the hospital to-day. GISBORNE CASE. GISBORNE. Feb 26. A case, of infantile paralysis, a boy aged one year and eight months, residing in Gisborne has been notified. Tho child -was removed to the Cook Hospital. THIRD RUNANGA <A^I : :. Lute on Wednesday night a little girl mimed Farrell. 21 years of age. residing with her parents at Runanga. was admitted to lhe Grey Hospital. It is thought the child is suffering from infantile paralysis, but it will be a few days before the authorities will be able to make a definite pronouncement .
