MINISTERIAL VISIT

SIR JAMES PARR. The Hon Sir James Parr, Minister of Education and Justice, will arrive in Greymouth from Reef ton about midday to-day. The (state of road bridges on the Buller Road has caused the Minister to re-organise his itinerary, which brings him here earlier than intended. The Alinister will be accompan ied by Mr Tate. Victoria’s Director of Education, who is a Commission to report An post-primaiy education in New Zealand. The Ministerial Party will proceed to Hokitika this evening whore local matters will be discussed with the local bodies. On Saturday the Party will leave for South Westland returning to Greymouth on Wednesday where the Minister will receive* deputations on local matters. He is to be asked "to open tin* A. and P. Show on Wednesday. The Minister has decided to cancel his intended visit to Westport.
