An outbreak of fire is reported from
St. Luke’s Interna I.i jnal Hospital. Practically the whole building, which was a temporary structure, was gutted. A strong wind was blowing. It is understood that a hundred -.nd twenty patients, including :» 't-w foreigners, were safely removed ian open space behind the hospital. Ma’.tres and the staff of the paymasters college in the neighbourhood assisted tin firemen. Dr. T(*ush'r, head of the hospital, is now returning from America. The cause of the fire is unknown. It totally destroyed the records and stores. As far as can be ascertained,, there were no casualties, all the patients being saved. They are being accommodated in another building. Those able to do so are returning to their homes.
