CREED OF A SCIENTIST
Sir Oliver Lodge is an outstanding figure in the world of science to-day. This is his economic creed as set forth in his “Modern Problems.” 1. That human labour is the ul’.iniate standard of value, and that coins might instructively be inscribed in terms of labour. 2. That by the institution of banks, stocks and shares, and of inheritance, the original exchange power of money has become subordinate io its secondary and accidental but now supreme and unlimited storage power. 3. Nuhaka and play at Nepia’s home. .1 rue to their word, the members ptrt in an appearance at Nuhaka mnd played the song dedicated to the All Blacks (“O n I New Zealand”). ’l’he composer was bom in Nupia’s birthplace-, and his sister heard the music played there for the first time. Nepia’s father is a man of magnificent physique, and impressed the band greatly.
