AT J’HK SCHOOLS. AUCKLAND. October 5. Many schools in the .Auckland district are taking up the proposal of the Forestry Department to establish nurseries for the raising of seedlings of shelter and timber trees. They were much impressmi with tin* magnitude of the operations at th(* Whaikai’ewarewa nurseries, where about 10 million young trees are being prepared for planting next season.
