(1) That as trustee of the estate of Barnard Menghini, he abused hi b position by lending trust money to himself, and in other ways:—This statement is condemned as incorrect in almost every particular. (2) That one Seaton was charged for work never done Tlt e AttorneyGeneral can find no evidence of misconduct. (3) That Wilson charged costs in procuring a claim for compensation for £lO5 —The answer to this is that the .£7l included costs in tour other cases on behalf 1 of the same client, and the total charge was reduced to CIS Ils 9d. The Attorney-General liuds the charge fair. (I) The charge ot misconduct in administering the affairs of one Abbott —The Public Thmstee took over Abjboft’s affairs and made an enquiry resulting in his reporting that there was nothing amiss in Wilson's dealings. Alf th t . moneys were accounted lor, and Abbott seemed to have done venwell out of it. There was also ;v charge that Wilson allowed Abbott to be sentenced to imprisonment for having no visible moans of support when he had lai go funds of Afbbott’s in hand. The Public Trustee says that Wilson had no moneys, was not Abbott’s counsel. and Abbott pleaded guilt \ for reasons of his own, connected with another charge against, him.
