WALLSEND MINE
BRUNNER COLLIERIES, LTD. GOING To ALLOTMENT. Mr Charles Taylor, organising representative of the Brunner Collieries Ltd., who has just returned from a visit to Auckland, reports very satisfactory results are being attained in the flotation of the company, the raising of the amouijZ of capital required to enable the company to go to the allotment of shares having al readx’ been exceeded to the extent oi fifty per cent. Consequently the allotment is being proceeded with immediately. Mr Taylor found Auckland investors very favourably disposed towards the proposition. despite the fact that the market is being flooded with other flotations at the present time. It is also a favourable augury for the company that its stock is being freely taken up by miners and other West Const people. who are doubtless in a good position to judge tho merits of the project. With the bulk of tho shares already pla<-e<l on the Coast and in Auckland the remainder xvill doubtless bo readily absorbed in the other parts of the Dominion as soon as investors there have the opportunity to subscribe.
