TEST MATCH ABANDONED. (Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, July 29. Owing to torrential rain the fourth test, match has been abandoned. In the match Tate took three wickets for 3-1 and Dick Tyldesley one for 11. Rain greatly interfered with play in Ihe County cricket contests. A num her of matches were abandoned. For Kent, against Leictster, Woollev made 141, and Seymour 89 not out. Ashdown took four wickets for 13. and Freeman 4 for 28. For Yorkshire against Glamorgan. MacAulav fook 4 for 37, and Wad dington 4 for 17. Hearne has notified the Maryleboue f'lub that his doctors reported him fit to participate in the Australian tour.
