PORT OF WESTPORT

TIDES. The tides at Westport are aprpoximately 10 minutes earlier than at Greymouth. NOTES. There were no local shipping move meats yesterday. Kahika, s.s., is due to-day from Lyttelton, and loads for a return trip to Lyttelton. Kaimanawa. s.s., sails to-day for the north. Komata, s.s., is leaving Wellington at 1 p.m. to-day for Westport, and returns there, sailing on Friday night or Saturday morning. Kaitangata, s.s., is due here shortly from New Plymouth to load coal for southern ports. Kakapo, s.s., sails for Auckland today. Waimea, s.s., and Kaimanawa, s.s., were yesterday waiting for coal cargoes. Titoki, s.s., leaves Nelson for this port to-day. Regulus, s.s., is also due early from Nelson. It is expected, that when the epidemic cases off, and coal production goes up again, there will be a very busy •ime at the port.
