ARAHTTRA FAT STOCK SALE. For the usual fortnightly fixture of tat stock held at the above yards yesterday, there was an entry of 105 fat sheep and 65 head of f: t cattle, which were offered to the usual attendance of buyers. Competition maintained the same level for prices as those ruling at the last sale, the sheep again selling particularly well. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows; — Sheep.—On account Mr W. Diedrich, 40 fat hoggets at 30/-, 16 shorn lambs at 20/6; on account Mr N. O’Brien, 52 fat ewes at 32/9; on account of a client 60 fat wethers at 38/-, 40 fat wethers at £2/-. Cattle.—On account Mr W. Diedrich, three bullocks at £9 10/-, two at £9 2/6, two at £8 2/6, one heifer at £7 15/-, two at £6 10/-, three at £6, two at £6 2/6; ou account Mr J. Collett, one steer at £8 5/-, one at £5, two at £6 5/-, three heifers at £6, four at £4 10/-, one at £5 17/6, three at £5 10/-, five at £5 5/-; on account Mr E. F. Wall, two bullocks at £9 17/6, two steers at £7 2/6, one cow at £6 10/-.
