PORT OF WESTPORT
TIDES. The tides at Westport arc aprpoximately 10 minutes earlier than at Greymouth. NOTES. Kahika, s.s., sails from Wellington for Westport this afternoon. Koniata, s.s., leaves Wellington today at 1 p.m., for Westport. She returns north on Friday. Kakapo, s.s., left Wellington yesterday for Westport, via New Plymouth. She loads coal at Westport for Bluff, Tiniaru and Oamaru. Kaimanawa, s.s., is unable to sail from Westport till to-morrow, owing to a lack of coal to complete her cargo for Auckland. Alexander, s.s., leaves Westport for Nelson to-day. Regulus, s.s., leaves Nelson to-day for Westport, via Greymouth. Titoki, s.s., leaves Nelson for West port direct to-day. The vessels in port yesterday at Westport were: the Kakapo, Kaimana wa, Alexander, and Nile. Baden Powell, s.s., has gone on to Greymouth from Westport. Koniata, s.s., arrived at Wellington on Sunday from Westport. Kakrpo, s.s., sails to-day for Auckland. Nile, s.s., sails early for Karamea.
