OPERA HOUSE. Warren Kerrigan in “The Turn of a. Card” will be shown at the matine' in the Opera House to-day and again to night for the last time. This is a powerful romance of Californian gold fields and the star has the role of a young western oil magnate who strikes rich. REX BEACH. There is a treat in store for those admirers of Rex Beach’s stories, in “The Iron Trail” at the Opera House on Monday and Tuesday. The picture is hailed by critics as n masterpiece of screen drama, for there are scenes that bring and again there are scenes that will bring the spectator to the edge of his seat in breathless suspense and expectation; there is tindeep and gripping romance of a primitive land where might is the ruler. Interwoven in |his story of strong men there is a love theme that grips the interest from beginning to end. There is an all-star cast in the picture each member of wliieb was approved by Rex B<‘aeh himself before any of the scenes of the picture were made. The usual prices will be charged and the orchestra will be in attendance. TOWN HALL. MATINEE TO-DAY. Harry Carey in a five-reel Universal “The Wallop,” will be shown at the matinee in the Town Hall to-day and again to-night for the last time. The supporting pictures include a two-reel Century comedy and the latest Gazettes. SUNDAY. Adapted from the story “Playing Dead” by Richard Harding Davis, “Restless Souls” featuring Earle Williams will be shown at the Town Hall on Sunday. The story of “Restless Souls” provides Earle Williams with a production in which ho is sure to 1 11 popularity—that of a man -who plars dead that his wife may marry another. Then when he finds that his will is missing, turns up alive and is reunited to the woman of his choice. A dog. a negro servant, and English sparro-v play important roles in this unusually interesting production.
