THE DUEL REVIVED
FRENCH LAWYERS’ BOUT. (Received Julv 4, 10.30 p.m.) * PARIS, July 3. The first publicly notified duel since the beginning of the war was fought on the outskirts of the city between two French barristers, M. Campinchi and M. Barquisseu. The men fought with rapiers. In the third bout, the seconds ended the encounter, because Barquisseau had thrice been wounded. The reason for the duel has not been published.
