THE IRISH SITUATION.

SNIPING IN DUBLIN. (Received May 27, at 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 25. There was considerable sniping of military posts in Dublin to-day. which was replied to with, a vigorous ma-chine-gun fire on the snipers’ positions. Some armed men raided a wine and spirit seller’s premises in Sackvllle Street, and poured petrol about the cellars, which were set on fire. The fire brigade avoided a serious conflagration.
