THE MIDLAND RAILWAY.

Repair Work at Otarama. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 10. The repair work has started on the Midland line at the Otarama slip, and so that work may be carried out with all despatch, arrangements have been made to send a relief train from Greymouth through the Arthur’s Pass tunnell. Operations can then be put in hand at both ends of the series of slips.
