HASTINGS, April 30. Beautiful weather greeted the second day of the Hawke’s Bay Autumn Meeting. The attendance was good, and the course provided good going. The sum of £21,561 was put through the machine, compared with £21,173 on the , second day last year, an increase of £3BB. The tote for the mooting handled £41,696, as against £40,944 last year, an i increase of £752. Results:— Karamu Hurdles. — Vagabond 1, Mountain Poor 2, Powder King 3. Also started: Master Oriflamme, Tahumata. Won by a length and a-half. Timo, 1 3.15' 1-5. Apprentices’ Plate Handicap. — Megan 1, Good Mark 2, Queen’s Ferry 3.
